Annie Wersching Bio

 Annie Wersching (born March 28, 1977) is an American actor who is known for her performance as Renee Walker in the American television show 24 and also for her motion capture and voice work for the character of Tess in the video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born and was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a graduate of Crossroads College Preparatory School, St. Louis' Central West End in 1995. While in her youth she participated in Irish dance and belonged to the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. She holds an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts degree in musical theatre from Millikin University, graduating in 1999. Wersching began her acting career with appearances on the television show Star Trek: Enterprise, and then moved to appearing as a guest in shows such as Charmed Killer Instinct, Supernatural and Cold Case. From March to November 2007 she was the regular character of Amelia Joffe on the ABC Daytime soap opera General Hospital. She also appeared in theatres like Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and the Utah Shakespearean Festival.Wersching played FBI Special Agent Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of 24.After the two seasons of 24 Wersching appeared on a variety of guest shows which included CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli and Isles, Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which has the co-star of 24 Kiefer Sutherland). In 2014, she appeared as a regular on the debut season of the Amazon Prime crime show Bosch. Wersching played catcher for the National League during the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends, Celebrity Softball Game and 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends. Wersching was also the voice in the role of Tess in The Last of Us on PlayStation 3. Her character was teased via Geoff Keighley's account on Twitter before she was finally seen in the trailer which was shown on the Spike Video Game Awards on December 7th, 2012.In September 2021, it was announced that Wersching would play the role of the Borg Queen in the sequel to Star Trek: Picard.
