Anna Kendrick
Anna Kendrick was born to Janice
(Cooke), an accountant as well as William Kendrick (a teacher). She has an
older brother, Michael Cooke Kendrick, who has also appeared in. She is from
English, Irish, and Scottish descent.For her role in the show "Dinah"
in "High Society" on Broadway, Anna Kendrick was nominated for an
Tony Award (second youngest ever) in addition to an award from the Drama Desk
Award, and the Fany Award (best actress featured in the musical). She won the
Drama League Award and Theatre World Award for her performance. She was
privileged to be working with choreographer Scott Ellis, choreographer Susan
Stroman as well as other famous actors in the New York City Opera House. Anna
starred in Camp (2003) and was nominated for the Broadway Tony Award for Best
actress (Featured role Musical) for High Society. She was the second youngest
nominee in Tony history (after 1991's Tony winner, Daisy Eagan). In Tony
history, George Clooney made fun of her while she worked with Scott Ellis and
Susan Stroman at the New York Opera House. Anna was in the film Camp (2003) and
was nominated for the 1998 Tony Award for the Best Actress (Featured Role -
Musical) for "High Society." She was nominated for an Oscar in 2010
in between the second and third installments of the series.Graduated from
