Beyoncé Giselle Knowles
Beyonce Giselle Knowles was conceived in
Houston, Texas on September 4, 1981. Her mother, Tina Knowles Lawson is the one
who designs their glittering costumes. her dad Mathew Knowles, manages
Destiny's Child. Solange as well as her sister (they're four years apart) has
released her debut album. She dances with her big sister at DC-3 shows.
Beyonce's Louisiana Creole & African descent. Whitney Houston
discovered her and her group. Lovefool from The Cardigans, is her top track.
The item she wears most often is a pair of path metallic work boots. She is the
writer and producer of many of the group's songs which include smash hits like
"Jumpin Jumpin", "Bootylicious", "Nasty Girl",
"Independent Women", "Happy Face" and "Apple Pie a la
Mode". The lead singer in the group's vocal group, Destiny's Children. The
group toured together with Christina Aguilera as her opening performance
(2000). TLC was their opening show (1999). Master P was a cat. He was a student
at the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts of Houston, Texas.
Solange is Nixon and Koi Knowles the older half sister. The two appeared on
Star Search (1983). In 2001, she became the first African-American woman to
ever receive the ASCAP Pop Songwriter of the Year Award. She is a great fan of Middle
Eastern music, dance and culture. Her most well-known hit is the song
"Crazy in Love", which she released in 2003. The Radio Music Awards,
MTV Europe Video Music Awards and Billboard Awards are among the awards shows
she's been on stage at in 2003. In November of 2003, Bono of U2 organized an
South African AIDS benefit concert. The goal was to fight the AIDS epidemic in
sub Saharan Africa. She was awarded five Grammy Awards for her song
"Dangerously in Love" (February 8 of 2004). Her father, Mathew, is of
African American descent. The mother of her, Tina, is of Louisiana Creole
origins - mostly African and French with ancestors who came from Louisiana as
well as, prior to this, Canada. Beyonce is also 1/32 Irish and has distant
Breton and Spanish, Indonesian and Chinese roots. The singer has been quoted as
saying that she created an act on stage dubbed "Sasha" to combat her
shyness.
